  1. Sony ignores danger to customer.

Posted by Barbara Lambert on 21st Jan 2017

I've bought Sony batteries to use exclusively in my VV/VW box mods from the beginning but that stops now. I repurchased all new batteries in 2016, all but 2 of them where Sony 4 or 5's. I vape between 20 - 35 watts. & a Xtar VC2 charger for safe charging. These are flat top batteries but have a soft top on the positive end. That soft top has been pushed in & mangled on every battery I bought in 2016! None of the Sony's fit the mods now & 2 have vented. Do Not Continue To Use a Battery If The Positive end becomes deformed! A total of 6 batteries have to be replaced because of this...That's not chump change!
The 2 batteries I purchased which have held their shape & their charge where LGDBHE 4; which I will purchase to replace all the Sonys. Sony has apparently decided to ignore this design flaw, putting customers at risk & helping those who wish to outlaw vaping! I'm boycotting everything Sony unless or until they get their corporate act together & behave responsibly!

  2. Happy Customer!

These batteries are good, I use them in my new IPV8 mod with the new smoke tank. I had Sigeli batteries and they got hot fast. These don't run hot and the charge lasts almost two days for me. I'm a pretty heavy user, too. Also, the shipping was super fast!!! I ordered on a Friday evening and they were in my mailbox Monday, with regular shipping!

  3. Tried ad True, Still One of the Best

Posted by CraigW on 18th Mar 2016

Bought Sony batteries when they first came out, before mods were popular like they are now. When mods did get popular, Sony clones came out and authentic Sony batteries were hard to find. It is nice to see them back and sold from a repeatable dealer that has the consumer in mind for repeat business.

I bought 3-pair from RTD. Checked them for authenticity and performance, few weeks later I went back and bought 3 more pair. It's nice to have these batteries available again. When Sony batteries were not around, brands like Efest and others were really a mixed bag, especially when purchased from Amazon vendors..

With the authentic Sony batteries, I know my sub-ohm vaping on unregulated and regulated mods is safe. RTD delivery was about 5-business days on both orders. RTD is highly recommended on the ECF forums. Their reputation in the community is well deserved. I will be a repeat customer.

  4. Great Batteries

100% authentic - great for my RDA builds

  5. The hype is real

Posted by Brian on 10th Jan 2016

Recieved ipvd3 for Xmas and is the first sinble battery powered device ive used, had lg he4 powering it but noticed it would drain literaly in two hours, in all fairness i do chain vape, but when i put the vct5 in it i get at least six hours out of each charge. Great batteries are an investment in my mind and these are worth every penny

  6. Vct5

Posted by Unknown on 7th Dec 2015

I try different brand Sony vct5 still the best battery for me

  7. Best battery I've used

Posted by Mike on 29th Oct 2015

I bought some IMR Efests while waiting for these to show up. I thought I got decent vape time out of them, on a Smok XCube II with a TFV4 using the quad coil at 0.15. However, after getting these, I'm impressed! Vaped all day yesterday, and the battery shows roughly 75%+ still ?! I may not draw as long/hard as the next guy (But I DO make some monster clouds at times), but I didn't expect to possibly get 3 days out of them, maybe more?! Running between 40-65watts. Will buy again, just to have some incase they go out of stock again! YMMV (Will update in a week or so if it lets me)

  8. Great Battery

Posted by RonMack on 24th Oct 2015

This is my first VTC battery and I love the power and the vape time I get from the VTC 5 I'll definitely be buying another I keep my build's between .08 - 1.5 mostly 1.5 on my Kayfun Lite's. It came to me quickly and packaged very nicely.

  9. Top Notch Performance

Posted by Randy Lawlis on 14th Oct 2015

I had heard Sony quit making these, but if they aren't, someone is producing a product with the exact same specs. I have old VTC5's and these are identical in appearance and best of all, performance.

  10. Best Batteries

Posted by Unknown on 11th Oct 2015

Last me 2 - 3 days on a charge. I vale constantly, so that means a great deal for me.
