Been using these for a week. They were performing so poorly I removed the wrapper of one to determine if they were still using VTC4s. It was indeed a VTC4 with an additional contact spot welded atop the normal positive terminal. After removing the additional contact, cleaning up the terminal, and rewrapping, it now performs as one would expect a VTC4 to perform. I just have to ask why they would go to all the extra effort to ruin a perfectly good battery.

be careful when buying this because it does not fit in all mods.

I used to over pay batteries for my E-cigarette until I was browsing the forums and was told to try these guys out. By far I am very satisfied, I used to eBay batteries and accessories until I found out places like eBay and Amazon were just over saturated with clones and terrible knock offs. RTD is just the best, prices are fair products are amazing.
I saw a few reviews I also noticed the length was off alittle bit but after awhile it fits like a glove. Out of the box they are difficult to get into a device, I bought four the first time around and thankfully I did because I cracked two of them lol. I just purchased another pair.

Longevity of battery life is on par with all my other 20-30a 2000mah batteries. After a few hours of use the voltage drop is too great to continue use. Basically a good purchase, my only complaint is that it is slightly longer of an 18650 battery than most. So much so that it becomes a pain to install them in some of my mods.

My only gripe is the length is longer than other 18650 cells. I have to split the difference and so my atty is not screwed all the way to the cap and the lids are not screwed all the way. However the battery works great and with a .5-.8 build I get almost an entire day out of them.

My review isn't necessarily based on the performance as I really can't judge it so take my 3 star rating at face value. Be mindful of this battery's length as it is approximately 2-3mm longer than the standard Sony VTC4. I believe this is because of a different positive terminal used on the XTARs. Never the less, these didn't fit flush in any of my High end Mech mods, all of which recommend the Sony VTC4s. RTD did/does have the battery's length right here in the specs so its my fault that I didn't analyze it closer to notice the difference.

I've been vaping with this battery since Christmas day. The battery is consistent and performs well. Mainly used with a Plume Veil RDA clone at .3 ohms. Great flavor and vapor production. Highly recommended.

I bought a box mod two weeks ago and have searched for VTC4 and VTC 5 batteries online. Every single vendor in the US is out of stock. Apparently the Sony VTC batteries for retail sale in America is a chimera. They can only be bought in China as far as I can see...EXCEPT FOR THE REBRANDED ATAR 18650.
